It's a very remote hike that requires an off road vehicle and 8 creek crossings. The crossings are super fun, especially this early in the year. The kids were so excited (and a little scared) for all 16 crossings.
To get there, take Hi Mountain Road to Lopez Canyon road. Drive to the end and hang a right at the dirt road. The trail head is on the right after about 7 miles.

We had a fun hike, and probably all took home a souvenir, some itchy poison oak.

Those boys look like they're having the greatest time! Looks like an awesome hike.
ReplyDeleteIt's a keeper, worth the trip out there. They LOVED crossing the creek in the truck.
