Three amazing mountain bike rides. Cold Canyon at Santa Margarita Lake, Blinn Ranch at Santa Margarita Lake and Duna Vista at Lopez Lake. These rides can be found in the book "Fat Tire Fun" a local mountain biking guide for San Luis Obispo County.
Cold Canyon: Rolling single track leading to two back country campgrounds (Swampi) in Santa Margarita Lake. Three Stars
Blinn Ranch: Old Ranch road with manageable climbs and great views of Santa Margarita Lake. I did both this trail and Cold Canyon on the same ride. Two Stars
Duna Vista: Rolling single track with one large but manageable climb. Fast, technical down hill. Amazing views of Lopez Lake all the way to Oceano Dunes. Four Stars.
